A body was found Thursday in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, authorities confirmed.
The body was discovered in the area of 99 Hartford Ave., according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.
Officials have publicly identified the body as a 33-year-old man, but family members say it was Patrick Murphy who passed away.
"Everybody said, 'no, it's not your son.' Got that same feeling, it was my son," Patrick's father, Glenn Murphy, told NBC Boston. "It's just parental instinct."
The DA's office, which is continuing to investigate, says the death is not considered suspicious. Glenn Murphy also said he does not suspect foul play.
