One person was critically injured in a 2-alarm fire in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood Monday night.
Fire crews responded around 9:45 p.m. to a fire on Rainier Road. A resident was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
A second alarm was ordered before the fire was knocked down.
In total, four residents were displaced by the fire.
No other injuries were reported.
The fire was believed to have caused about $50,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
