A fire at a Mercedes dealership in Lynfield, Massachusetts, caused traffic delays on Route 1 Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded to a call at Flagship Motorcars at 385 Broadway Route 1 North at about 4 a.m.
The fire started in a car on the showroom floor, according to Lynnfield Fire Chief Glenn Davis.
Sprinklers helped keep the fire contained after a security guard first spotted the problem from outside the building.
"There's 12 vehicles parked on the showroom floor. Security was walking the area. They noticed the glow through the front window," Davis said.
Crews were able to quickly contain the blaze despite the low visibility.
"Zero visibility. They had the thermal imaging cameras and were able to find the scene of the fire very quickly," Davis said.

The other vehicles in the showroom were expected to have sustained damage due to the fire.
The dealership is owned by the Herb Chambers Companies. On Monday, two Lamborghini SUVs were stolen from the company's Wayland showroom and were later recovered after crashing into each other.
The fire chief said there was no correlation between the two events.
"It's way too early for any speculation at this point. Nothing looks suspicious," Davis said.
The state fire marshal has been brought in to investigate, according to Davis.
