N.H. social workers ignored warning signs that a 5-year-old girl Harmony Montgomery was being physically abused by her father before her death, the slain girl’s mother alleged in a negligence lawsuit.

Harmony’s father, Adam Montgomery, was convicted of her murder, but the girl’s body has never been found.

More than a hundred people searched for Harmony Montgomery’s remains at the Rumney Marsh in Saugus, Massachusetts, on Saturday.

During the sentencing hearing for the murder of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery, Blair and Johnathon Miller spoke about the impact Harmony’s murder has had on their adopted son, Harmony’s younger half-brother Jamison.

Adam Montgomery was sentenced to 45 years to life in prison for the murder of his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony. Montgomery was also sentenced for second-degree assault, witness tampering, falsifying physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
