Eli Rosenberg started at NBC10 Boston in July 2016.
This actually a return to Boston for Eli. After college, he lived in Boston for two years while working for a consulting and research company in Kendall Square.
Before moving out East, Eli worked for KMBC-TV, the ABC station in Kansas City. Eli, a Kansas City native, was one of the first reporters to cover the protests and subsequent riots in Ferguson, Missouri. As the unrest grew there, Eli led KMBC's coverage over several months, including the night the grand jury decision was released, reporting extensively as violence unleashed between protesters and police. This coverage won a 2015 Edward R. Murrow award for Breaking News.
Prior to KMBC/KCWE, Eli worked as a reporter for WATN-TV, the ABC station in Memphis, Tennessee.
He has also worked as a reporter for KWTX, the CBS station in Waco, Texas. While there, Eli was one of the first reporters on the scene of the November 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood. Eli also was an adjunct journalism professor at Baylor University.
Eli earned his bachelor's degree at Northwestern University and a master's degree from Syracuse University.
