Jericho Tran joined NBC10 Boston and NECN in July 2023.
An Emmy Award winning journalist, she started her career in New York City. While in the Big Apple, she worked at News12, filling in as the morning anchor while focusing on stories about subway safety, education, and immigration. She covered major national and local stories, including former President Donald Trump’s historic indictment, the fallout from Hurricane Ida, and the arrival of migrants into the city.
During her time with NBC10 Boston, Tran traveled to Lewiston, Maine, where she covered the mass shooting. After Leominster’s devastating September storm, she reported from some of the hardest hit areas.
A graduate of Brooklyn College, she grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. At her first station, Bronxnet, she covered the effects of COVID-19 on the community during the height of the pandemic.
When she’s not covering stories, Tran enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring her new home here in the Bay State.
