Natalie Lizarraga joined NBC10 Boston and necn in October of 2019 from her hometown of Los Angeles and former station KTLA.
She was the co-host of "5 LIVE," KTLA’s digital-only newscast. Prior to that, she spent three years in the Midwest as a morning anchor at WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio.
A SoCal Native, Natalie earned her bachelor’s degree in television production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and later graduated with her Master’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
After graduation, she worked for CBS Television and "Entertainment Tonight" as a talent assistant and field producer, covering movie junkets, red carpet premieres, the Super Bowl, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes and the ESPYs.
The East Coast is not completely new to Natalie, as her cousin – former New England Patriots tight end Christian Fauria – is a long time member of the community, with a daily radio show on WEEI. So she is well versed on the seriousness of the Boston sports culture.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling internationally with her family and friends, fostering dogs for the Humane Society, trying every new workout the city of Boston has to offer, and being creative in all capacities of painting, crafting, design, and writing.
