Two health care workers in Boston have tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Both Mass. Eye and Ear and Brigham and Women's Hospital announced this weekend that a health care worker at their hospital has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, Mass. Eye and Ear called it inevitable that one of their health care workers would test positive for coronavirus, as that virus continues to spread.
The hospital says they are in the process of notifying people who have come into contact with this healthcare worker.
They say: “The entire Mass. Eye and Ear community has been prepared for this and taken every precaution possible to protect patients, providers and staff...”
The Brigham also confirmed at least one health care worker is infected there.

Both hospitals right now are in the process of notifying the people who are close contacts of those healthcare workers.
Those close contacts are being asked to take precautions and socially distance themselves for 14 days.
As of Sunday, Massachusetts has so far reported 164 cases of the virus.
