One person was shot in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
Boston police said the shooting occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Walk Hill Road. The victim suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Aerial footage from the Sky Ranger helicopter showed multiple officers at the scene and a building that had been taped off.
Police said the injuries do not appear to be life threatening. No arrests have been made at this time.
The shooting comes just one day after three people were shot - one fatally - in the city's Mission Hill neighborhood. That shooting happened just as a school basketball game was letting out and hundreds of youths poured into the streets.
According to Boston police data, shootings in the city are up 10 percent over last year.
