The winners of the 129th Boston Marathon recapped their experiences Tuesday alongside race officials at an event celebrating their big wins.
John Korir of Kenya won the professional men's division, joining his brother, Wesley, as the only siblings ever to win Boston. He said he's had his sights set on Boston and right now he's taking a moment to relax and savor his success.

“My dream was to come here and do it and my dream has come true," Korir said Tuesday.
Sharon Lokedi of Kenya won the professional women's division, beating out reigning champ Hellen Obiri. She also set a course record, which was acknowledged with a special medallion.

Calling the day "perfect," she said he was grateful for the invite and the experience.
"It's just been a dream to come out here and compete and to win," she said.
In the men’s wheelchair division, Marcel Hug of Switzerland won for the eighth time in Boston.
"The whole day, all and all it was really fantastic, not only with the win, definitely the highlight, but the experience overall was just amazing," Hug said.
In the women’s wheelchair division, Susannah Scaroni of the US claimed her second championship. She said on top of her personal success, she thinks Boston has a history of empowering individualof all backgrounds that she is proud to be a part of.
"Uniting us, allowing us to get the most out of ourselvs. and so to get to do that to truly get so much out of my body that I didn't know was in there, I think is a reflection of that."
