Witnesses said a dark-colored car was making its way down Beacham Street when it then hit the curb, took down part of a fence, hit a white SUV and then struck the girl in the parking lot of the cannabis dispensary.

The owners of the white SUV had just gotten into the car when they said they heard squealing tires and then were hit.

"I'm kind of still in shock," said one of the passengers in the SUV. "I'm just glad she's alive and the girl... you know, to see her on the floor just laying there... I've never seen anything like that, so it's kind of shocking and scary."

The girl's father told NBC10 Boston he watched helplessly as it all unfolded on Father's Day. He said he heard the car screeching around the corner while he was inside a Dunkin' store. His daughter was walking through the parking lot to meet him and the rest of her family.

That's when a black Mercedes sedan apparently lost control and crashed through the metal fence dividing Dunkin' and Rise Dispensary.

The girl's father identified his daughter as Milena Tene. He said he rushed outside to save his daughter's life.

"I seen my daughter right away and I knew it was her and I came running," Teddy Tene said. "They didn't want me to touch my daughter, they didn't want me to move my daughter and her lips were turning blue and I didn't listen to nobody and I saved my daughter's life. I blew air into her and her lips went from purple back to pink."

The girl's father said his daughter is now in a coma, with head trauma and injuries to her heart and lungs. He's asking for prayers. Police said only that the girl is in critical condition at a Boston hospital.

The man who was driving a car that hit a 14-year-old girl on Sunday night in Chelsea, Massachusetts, is now facing charges.

State police said Monday that their preliminary investigation shows that a 2020 Mercedes sedan driven by Ceserino Borelli, 44, of Watertown, was driving westbound on Beacham Street at a high rate of speed when the car left the road and entered the Dunkin' parking lot, causing property damage and then driving through a metal fence surrounding the parking lot of the RISE Dispensary cannabis shop. The Mercedes hit a parked and occupied Mercedes SUV and then struck the teenage girl, who was standing in the parking lot of the cannabis dispensary.

After hitting the victim, police said the Mercedes sedan continued through the parking lot and struck a parked Nissan SUV. Borelli then exited the vehicle and walked towards the front of RISE Dispensary before lying down on the sidewalk.

Borelli has been charged with numerous motor vehicle offenses by Chelsea police. He was taken to a Boston hospital after complaining of back pain and remains hospitalized under police guard.

The investigation into the facts and circumstances of the crash is ongoing, state police said. Additional charges against are possible depending on the results of the investigation.

According to Chelsea Police Chief Keith Houghton, detectives from the Chelsea Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
