A 17-year-old was rushed to the hospital after being shot and pushed out of a moving car in Methuen.
The victim was brought to Lawrence General Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery, was stabilized and brought to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, according to Methuen police. He's suffering from serious injuries.
There are no arrests at this time. Methuen police are investigating along with state police.
Neighbors were shocked, as the incident happened in the middle of the day.
Methuen police said they rushed to a stretch of Davis Road after a 911 caller reported a teen had been pushed out of a moving car and was in the street. Police responded to find the 17-year-old with a gun shot wound to the shoulder.
