Three workers were hurt Tuesday morning after being shocked at a home in Beverly, Massachusetts.
Three workers were injured, one critically, when the scaffolding they were working with at a home came in contact with power lines Monday morning in Beverly, Massachusetts.
The workers were trying to raise the scaffolding at the home on Fosters Point at about 10:30 a.m. when the scaffolding brushed an electrical wire.
A neighbor said his wife heard the men fall and called 911 before rushing to help.
"She heard two thumps to the ground from inside the house," neighbor John Ventola said.
The workers were taken to Beverly Hospital where police said one man is in critical condition. The other two men are said to have injuries considered non-life threatening.
Ventola, who said the men have been working at the home since July, are "professionals."
"They weren't fooling around. They weren't doing anything stupid," Ventola said. "It' unfortunate—in my mind, it was just a bad accident."
