Three people are recovering after a crash led to one of the vehicles smashing into a sushi restaurant in Downtown Boston.
The crash happened at the intersection of Tremont Street and Stuart Street in Boston's busy Theater District. Witnesses say two vehicles collided, with one going into the Genki Ya restaurant.

"Just pandemonium," said Dylan Stevens, who saw the scene from his hotel window.
Boston police said three pedestrians were hit by the vehicle, but witnesses tell NBC10 Boston two pedestrians and the driver of the SUV that hit the restaurant were hurt.

"He was in the front seat seizing," said witness Alex Simpson, who used a pocket knife to cut away the driver's air bag. "He was not responsive to any of our questions."
Two people have been brought to area hospitals, police said. All three victims' injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
No one was injured inside the restaurant, which has substantial damage, including broken tiles, cracks and shattered glass.

"It's definitely going to hurt," said Nick Cheung, whose family owns the restaurant. "Who knows when, but we'll build from this."
Witnesses who were steps away from the crash site are grateful they narrowly missed being hit.
"I thank my lucky stars I wasn't sitting there like 15 seconds earlier," said Andrew Denney. "I was literally in the middle of the interaction there."
Investigators have not said if either of the drivers involved in the crash could be facing any charges.
