4 Boston-Area Restaurants Among Top 100 in the US

Four Boston-area restaurants have been recognized among the top 100 in the country in a list compiled from more than 12 million restaurant reviews.

OpenTable’s "100 Best Restaurants in America 2017" was generated from reviews they received between Nov. 1, 2016 and Oct. 31. 2017.

The list, which is in alphabetical order, includes Yvonne's in Downtown Crossing, "a modern reinterpretation of the supper club," according to its website.

Also on the list is Coppa in the South End, which focuses on Italian small plates that change seasonally.

"We are humbled and honored by the inclusion, and psyched that our guests are such fans of our little enoteca in the South End," said Co-Chef/Owners Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette. "As much as we love Italy, this little corner in Boston is one of our favorite places in the world."

Giulia in Cambridge is on the list and says they aim for “wonderful food and great service with true Italian vigor and charm” on their website.

The Table at Season to Taste in Cambridge is the fourth Boston-area restaurant on the list, and they keep it small with only 20 seats and a four-course menu.

"We're thrilled to be recognized alongside some of our favorite Boston-area restaurants," said Chef Carl Dooley. "We're lucky to have an excellent team and such a loyal customer base, and we'll continue to strive for excellence in the coming year."

In addition, Arethusa al Tavolo in Bantam, Connecticut, which prides itself on using dairy from its farm, made the list.

OpenTable says restaurants on the list had to have a select number of qualifying reviews and a minimum overall score. Restaurants were then sorted by the score in the "overall" category.
