The home burned down in 2009 and was rebuilt by the same owners, Chief Gentile confirmed. Foul play is not suspected by fire officials.
The mother of one of the homeowners said her daughter saved the dogs the first time the home burned down 13 years ago.
"They got out," Ann Odabashian said. "She got stuck in the house and had to go back upstairs and crawl along the back deck. It was very scary because we couldn’t find her at first."
An excavator was called to knock down the house. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
