Boston police are investigating an early Saturday morning fight in Downtown Crossing that left one person critically injured.
The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the area of One Summer Street, near Macy's department store.
Police responded to the area on a report of someone who had been stabbed. Police said they found two people. One person had minor injuries while the reportedly had life threatening injuries. Police said the person was listed in critical but stable position this morning.
Blood was evident on the sidewalk where police had taped off the crime scene area.
The incident occurred at a time when most business in the popular shopping district were closed. Police said no arrests have been made at this time.
