Ouija Look at That: ‘World's Largest Ouija Board' Unveiled in Salem, Mass.

Ripley's Believe it or Not says that "Ouijazilla" holds the "unofficial title for World's Largest Ouija Board" at 3,168 square feet.

Salem, Massachusetts, has another spooky distinction to add to its resume after what is touted as the world's largest Ouija board made its debut there on Saturday.

"Ouijazilla" was revealed to the world at Salem Common on Saturday, Boston.com reported

The board is the creation of Rick "Ormortis" Schreck, vice president of the Talking Board Historical Society, a "non-profit dedicated to researching, preserving and celebrating the history of talking boards," the Talking Board Historical Society said on its website.

The board weighs a whopping 9,000 pounds and is large enough to park five, full-size 18-wheelers on it, according to the society. It also says that the planchet — the peice normally moved around a Ouija board — is roughly 400 pounds, and big enough for Schreck to stand in.

That's much larger than the Guinness World Record holder, a 1,300-square-foot board built in 2016 on top of a purportedly haunted hotel in Windber, Pennsylvania.
