Boston police clarified on Thursday that what had been reported as over 100 packages being stolen from a mailroom at a Roxbury apartment complex were not in fact stolen, and were picked up by their rightful owners and accounted for.
"After further investigation and coordination with management, it was determined that all packages were accounted for or picked up by the rightful owner," a spokesperson for Boston police said in a statement. "We do not have a crime and this was more of a misunderstanding by management of where the 138 packages went."
