An arrest warrant has been issued for a Massachusetts fire lieutenant accused of threatening a woman back in December.

Whitman Police confirmed to NBC10 Boston the arrest warrant has been issued for Braintree Fire Lt. Kevin MacAleese.

According to the Patriot Ledger, the 53-year-old was charged with threatening to commit a crime stemming from a Dec. 13 incident.

Whitman Police told the paper a woman called them to report MacAleese threatened to "kill her" and "bury her".

When police arrived at the woman's home, they say she was on the phone with MacAleese, who was allegedly threatening to beat up her husband.

Police said they heard MacAleese on the phone and then later saw him drive by her house.

Authorities said MacAleese has an attorney and the Barnstable District Attorney's Office is handling the case on behalf of Plymouth County.
