A Massachusetts acupuncturist faced a judge on indecent assault and battery charges on Tuesday.
Qunhao "John" Zhang, 51, of Needham, was released on his own recognizance following his arraignment on two counts of indecent assault and battery following a complaint, according to the Suffolk District Attorney's Office.
The district attorney's office said Zhang was charged for his alleged conduct with a client at his acupuncture office on Whittier Place in Boston after he allegedly touched the woman in a "sexual manner" during an appointment in November.
The case was investigated by Boston police's sexual assault unit.
It's unclear if Zhang has an attorney.
His next court date is April 9.
