A man was sent to an area hospital after being stabbed Monday in the Brighton neighborhood, Boston police say.
The stabbing happened near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Warren Street, police said Monday night.

Police said the 36-year-old male victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, around 6:30 p.m., police said they arrested 43-year-old Hans Pierre, of Brighton, outside of his residence in connection with the stabbing. He was expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court on Wednesday on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).
