The man who was killed at an apartment on Pleasant Street was identified Monday as Frantzy Jeanty, 54, by the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office, which also revealed more information on the murder investigation.

Jeanty's killing was reported about 3:23 p.m. on Friday, and he was found inside his apartment, shot multiple times, and pronounced dead at the scene, prosecutors said.

Investigators found surveillance video showing two people, later identified as Jean and Cort, get out of a white car, an Audi that belongs to Cort's mother, in a nearby parking lot, according to prosecutors. Jean could be seen climbing a fire escape and getting into the building through a second floor apartment, then opening the rear door to let Cort inside.

They went to Jeanty's apartment and Cort knocked, asking for the man. When Jeanty opened the door, Jean walked inside, shortly before gunfire could be heard, according to prosecutors. Jean says something about going downstairs and waiting, then more gunshots were heard, and Jean can be seen leaving the apartment with a suitcase that investigators believe had a small safe, with thousands of dollars, inside.

Jean and Cort drove off in the car, which police tracked down to an address in Middleborough on Saturday, prosecutors said. Cort was there, brought to a state police station and eventually held on $1 million bail.

Jean was arrested Monday morning in Dorchester on a warrant, according to prosecutors.

Both pleaded not guilty and held without bail at their arraignments Monday in Brockton District Court. Jean faces charges of murder, gun charges, assault and battery, armed home invasion and more; Cort was arraigned on charges including murder, armed home invasion and breaking and entering.

They are due back in court Dec. 23.
