As Sen. Cory Booker continues his presidential campaign, he caught up with NBC10 Boston in New Hampshire.
Booker spoke to the station after a meet-and-greet event at the Bagel Mill in Peterborough, discussing the 2020 race as well as his relationship with actress Rosario Dawson.
A preparatory Google search of his latest policy positions and activity on the campaign trail turned up was a slew of headlines about him and Dawson, who was quoted as saying she is "absolutely in love" with the senator.
Booker laughed when this was mentioned to him.
"It is a great experience to be dating someone more famous than you are," Booker said. "She is an extraordinary woman who has transformed my life, and you know, it's just weird to be running for president at a time that I'm the happiest I've ever been in my personal life, as well. So I'm excited to win the presidency and perhaps have one of the more extraordinary significant others that has ever been with a president."
It sounds like wedding bells could be ringing some day soon for those two.
