A car crash in New Hampshire killed two women Friday afternoon, police say.
According to officials, State Police received a call for a serious motor vehicle accident on Interstate 93 South in Canterbury just after 3 p.m. Friday.
A car traveling southbound reportedly veered to its left and ran off the roadway and down an embankment. The car then hit a tree on its passenger side.
Two women occupants died upon impact, police said. Their identities are being withheld until next of kin are notified.
The crash remains under investigation.
