Sixteen people were displaced after a 5-alarm fire broke out Friday in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.
Fire crews responded to a home at 7-9 Clover St. Although the fire has been put out, firefighters were still chasing hot spots Friday evening.
Three firefighters were hospitalized, including two for arm injuries and one for heat exhaustion. No civilians were hurt.
Boston Fire says there was a heavy blaze in the rear of the three-story, six-unit building upon arrival.
The fire, which caused an estimated $1 million in damage, left the building's 16 residents homeless. The American Red Cross of Massachusetts is assisting those displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
