Following an hourslong search by Massachusetts State Police and Boston police and fire departments, the body of a 19-year-old missing swimmer has been recovered, officials said.
State police said on Twitter just before 5:45 p.m. Thursday that crews including the state police dive team and air wing were searching Turtle Pond after receiving a report of a person who apparently went under the water and never resurfaced.

More than two hours later, police said they had recovered the Boston resident's body. According to police, the victim, whose name has not been released, was determined to be dead on scene.
Parts of Enneking Parkway were blocked off while authorities conducted their search.
