A death investigation is underway in Woburn, Massachusetts, on Tuesday morning.
Woburn police said they responded to an apartment complex on Kimball Court after receiving a call just after 7 a.m. that a body had been found. They said the death investigation is ongoing.

It's unclear at this point whether the body was found inside a residence or nearby.
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office said their office has responded and is investigating.

The state medical examiner's office was also at the scene Tuesday. Their investigation will help determine if this was a criminal act or another kind of death.
