Police said they were called to Seaver Street, near the intersection with Humboldt, just before 11 a.m. There they found two shooting victims, who were taken to the hospital with what was described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses inside the restaurant at the time said it happened fast. They heard around three shots, then people took off running in every direction.

One employee said he looked out the window and saw two men lying in the parking lot. He called 911.

Regulars at the restaurant say they were shocked.

"I was a little surprised, I feel pretty safe right here," one told NBC10 Boston.
