A 3-year-old Massachusetts boy who has been battling brain cancer for months was the guest of honor at a special concert at his Weymouth home.
Quinn Waters has been in isolation since his last round of chemotherapy at Boston Children's Hospital. In February, soon after his third birthday, he was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma, a brain tumor on the brain stem, and doctors removed 95% of it, according to his Facebook page.
This week, the Dropkick Murphys performed for him as he stood in the front door of the home.
The toddler earned his nickname, "the Mighty Quinn," due to the number of hospital stays and stem cell treatments and chemotherapy he has endured.

While he awaits a stem cell transplant, the boy must avoid infection.
"He can't leave the house because there's too many variables and stuff that could go wrong if he did," said Quinn's father, Jarlath Waters.
Because the Mighty Quinn can't go outside, outside has been coming to him. He has had no shortage of visitors, from police officers to the Weymouth High School theater company. There was even a water balloon fight.
Then, this week, the Dropkick Murphys stopped by for a private concert.
"Quinn asked them to play a song by a different band," Jarlath Waters said. "You know, you got, like, one of the biggest bands in Boston showing up at your door and you ask them to play a request."

Quinn's big sister, Maggie Waters, says all the visits absolutely make a difference.
"Quinn's been just really ... happy," she said.
