The woman, who was identified Wedneday as Elke Noblesse, was taken to Salem Hospital where she was pronounced dead, Police Chief Timothy Furlong said. Foul play is not suspected.

Noblesse was originally from the Netherlands but was living in Nahant.

At least two police vehicles were seen parked out front of the club located at 89 Summer Street, where a sign on the property reads "members only."

The Essex District Attorney's Office said the incident remains under investigation, and the cause and manner of Noblesse's death will be determined by the chief medical examiner's office.
