BEMA said on Facebook around 11 a.m. that the medical center was in condition black, meaning they were not accepting any incoming patients.

In an update at 4 p.m. BEMA referred to the situation as a "major power outage," and said it has resulted in the closure and evacuation of some areas of the hospital. The emergency room is still open for walk-in patients, but all ambulances are being diverted to other hospitals.

Nearby Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital remains closed following a fire earlier this year.
The sewer line at the hospital also got backed up, causing some flooding. But that issue has been fixed.

In the comments, BEMA stated that it is nothing suspicious but is is an issue with the critical infrastructure of the hospital.
Anyone who need medical attention is being asked to call their medical provider or to use an urgent care center if they need immediate assistance for non-life-threatening issues.
