Crews Respond to 5-Alarm Fire in Dorchester

A five-alarm blazed ravaged a multi-family home in Dorchester last night and left 14 people homeless.

Firefighters accounted for the 14 residents, which lost their homes in the three-family building. Fire officials estimated damage at approximately $1.5 million. 

Crews responded at 10:05 p.m. to 7 Allston St. in Dorchester to the multi-family house fire. There were no injuries or fatalities in the blaze. 

Mayor Martin Walsh was on the scene of the fire at midnight.

Four people were displaced during a 2-alarm fire early Saturday morning.
