Hundreds of Delays, Cancellations at New England Airports as Nor'easter Howls Through

Air travel was impacted at each of New England's major airports

Some parts of New England saw more than two feet of snow Tuesday, and with gusty winds continuing through the evening, power outages continue to be a concern.

The blast of winter weather hitting New England on Tuesday was not only turning driving into a headache, but flying as well.

At Logan International Airport in Boston, there were 293 canceled flights on Tuesday as of around 2:30 p.m., along with 99 delays, FlightAware reported.

In Rhode Island, where there were 11 delays and six cancellations at T.F. Green Airport on Tuesday, as of 2:30 p.m.

At Vermont's Burlington International Airport, FlightAware reported 13 cancellations for the day at 2:30 p.m. and 10 delays.

Meanwhile, At Portland, Maine's International Jetport, there were 36 cancellations and one delay reported as of around 2:30 p.m.

Thirty-four flights were canceled Tuesday at Manchester Boston-Regional Airport as of 2:30 p.m.

Finally, in Connecticut, Bradley International in Windsor Locks saw 17 delays and 63 cancellations as of 2:30 p.m.

A late-winter nor'easter brought heavy snow, pouring rain and howling wind to New England Tuesday.
