At least two patients were transported to the hospital, according to the fire department.

Duxbury police said Sunday that both drivers involved suffered minor injuries in the crash around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 53 and Franklin Street.

According to police, a passenger in one of the vehicles -- identified as 29-year-old Aaron Swift, of Plymouth -- was found to have an active arrest warrant out of Falmouth District Court for multiple firearms charges.

Swift was treated for a medical condition at a local hospital but was transferred to a Boston hospital for additional care, police said. Bail was set at $25,000, so Duxbury officers are working in shifts to guard Swift until he is released from the hospital on bail or taken into custody by the courts.

It wasn't immediately clear if he had obtained an attorney, and there wasn't further information about the crash that occurred Saturday.
