Many held signs Thursday saying, "No retrial," "Free Karen Read," and "Stop Canton cover up." One sign said "Bias Bev gotta go" — referencing Judge Beverly Cannone, who has presided over the Read case.
There were also people holding signs calling for justice for Officer John O'Keefe.
Read's brother, Nathan, spoke in his first interview since the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office appointed a new prosecutor in her case.

"What's coming out of MSP in regards to the young man out in New Braintree is troubling," addd Nathan Read. "What happened, who knows? I don't know. But it is troubling. Concerning."
