With the fire station less than 100 feet away, firefighters rushed to the scene and came across flames shooting out of the roof.
"As soon as we had fire through the roof, we knew it was going to start extending in both directions through the length of the strip mall," said Fire Chief Glenn Davis. "It got pretty far ahead of us pretty quickly."

In the end, nearly all the business on the strip, including a Dunkin' that just underwent a total rehab, are now being considered a total loss.
"It’s making me cry inside," said Mohammed Oheduzzamann, a part owner of Old Towne Market.
For the past 12 years, Oheduzzamann and his cousins have been working to make Old Towne Market a staple in the Lynnfield community.
"Now, everything is gone. So, I mean — it's very...I can't describe but it's very hurtful," he said. "I can tell you that."
No injuries were reported.
