The person who was shot was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and was pronounced dead about 6:28 p.m., according to police
Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Friday afternoon and the man suspected of killing him before being taken into custody, while sharing more information about what happened.
The victim was identified as 41-year-old Brent Berkley.

David Gerome, 23, was arrested on charges of murder, reckless endangerment of a child and other charges.
In an update Saturday, District Attorney Timothy Cruz said Berkley and Gerome were involved in a minor traffic incident that resulted in a fight before the shooting.

Gerome had his 18-month-old child in the car when the incident happened, Cruz said. Gerome had an active license to carry a firearm.
He was arrested without incident, according to Cruz.
It happened right in the middle of town at dinner time, so there were a lot of witnesses who described a scary situation.
"I saw a man walk up to another gentleman they were having an argument and he pulled out a gun, shot him at least twice, the man stepped back fell back towards the back side of main street he twitched a bunch, came back and stood over the man and it looked like he tried to give him CPR," said Joel Burrelli, a witness to the incident.
Berkley was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess hospital where he was pronounced dead.
