Several car makers have announced a recall of a certain brand of air bags.
Upwards of 1.7 million cars have been recalled for unsafe Takata air bag inflators. The inflators can potentially send shrapnel flying at drivers and passengers during a crash.
The recall impacts Subaru, Tesla, BMW, Volkswagen, Daimler Vans, Mercedes and Ferrari.
