UPDATE (Sunday, March 23, 2025): The woman was found safe in a car, and her caregiver arrested, police said.

Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, are searching for a missing woman with autism.

The woman, 45, was last seen around 3 p.m. Wednesday in the area of North Claredon Street.

Police noted that she has autism and is nonverbal.
