Within minutes of the polls closing in New Hampshire, NBC News projected Donald Trump as the winner of the state's GOP primary and President Joe Biden as the victor on the Democratic side.
Ron DeSantis' exit from the Republican presidential campaign on Sunday left Nikki Haley as the only real challenger to the former president. But after trailing by double digits in recent polls, she was unable to close the gap.
On the Demoratic side, Biden's name didn't even appear on the ballot, but New Hampshire Democrats ran a write-in campaign that effectively held off challengers Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson.
