Boston Police Officer Kim Tavares put on a private concert for a very special person on Sunday.
The department posted a YouTube video of Tavares performing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for Quinn Waters, 3, outside of his Weymouth home.
Waters, also known as "the Mighty Quinn," has been battling brain cancer since February and cannot go outside. As a result, he has had a few special concerts at his own house, including one by the Dropkick Murphys.
In addition to performances, he's had various community members visit him through his window, including his mom's coworkers and an ice cream truck, according to his Facebook page. The toddler even got a video message from Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady last week.
"The Mighty Quinn" earned his nickname due to the number of hospital stays and stem cell treatments and chemotherapy he has endured.
Updates on Quinn's progress can be found on his Facebook page.
