Man dead in single-car crash in Nashua identified

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Nashua, New Hampshire early Sunday morning.

According to police investigation, the driver, identified as 44-year-old Christopher Duval, of Merrimack lost control of a 2019 Kia Sorento while traveling in the far-right lane in the area of Exit 8 and collided head-on with the center median barrier.

Hydraulic rescue tools were used to access the man inside the car, according to authorities. Duval was declared dead at the scene.

Two lanes just north of Exit 8 remained closed but have since been reopened.
