A 44-year-old man is dead after an overnight crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua, New Hampshire.
State police say a passerby alerted them around 1:12 a.m. Sunday after witnessing the single-vehicle crash on the northbound side of the turnpike. Responding troopers found a Kia Sorento and one person inside who was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Christopher Duval, of Merrimack.

According to a preliminary investigation, state police say Duval lost control of his vehicle while traveling in the far-right lane in the area of Exit 8. The Kia crossed multiple lanes to the left and collided head-on with the center median barrier, police said.
Duval died from his injuries in the crash.

Nashua police and fire departments assisted state police on scene, where the left two lanes north of Exit 8 were closed for approximately two hours as they investigated.
