According to a preliminary investigation, state police say Duval lost control of his vehicle while traveling in the far-right lane in the area of Exit 8. The Kia crossed multiple lanes to the left and collided head-on with the center median barrier, police said.

Duval died from his injuries in the crash.

Nashua police and fire departments assisted state police on scene, where the left two lanes north of Exit 8 were closed for approximately two hours as they investigated.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Additional witnesses or anyone else with information that could be helpful to investigators are asked to contact Trooper Madelynn Davis at Madelynn.M.Davis@dos.nh.gov or 603-223-4381.

New Hampshire State Police said the Kia driver has been identified as 71-year-old Rodney Dore, of Pelham. The two passengers were identified as 70-year-old Anne Dore, also of Pelham, and 45-year-old Lisana Alexander, of Salem.
