An 18-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday evening in Malden, Massachusetts, according to authorities.
State and local police were investigating at an apartment complex on Bowdoin Street, where authorities responded to a call shortly after 7 p.m. Officers located the man, who was suffering from gunshot wounds upon arrival to the scene.
The victim, who was later identified as Jaden Britto-White, was then transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and Malden Police suggests that Britto-White was standing outside of his apartment building when two men allegedly approached him and shot him. The motive remains unclear.
The investigation remains ongoing.
