A man was stabbed Tuesday in East Boston, according to police.

The stabbing occurred at about 9 p.m. outside the Maverick MBTA stop, Boston police said.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police, who said officers came across a crime scene in front of 15 Father Jacobe Road.

They didn't specify whether the two incidents were related.

No arrests have been made.
