Two people were shot Thursday night in Peabody, Massachusetts, according to police. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police were called for shots fired just after 11 p.m. A 23-year-old Peabody woman was shot in the left wrist and a 22-year-old Lynn man was shot in the thigh, police said. Both were taken to the hospital. The woman was treated and released from North Shore Medical Center.

A witness told police that someone was driving the Lynn man to the hospital in a gray Audi, so police pulled them over and put him in an ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital.

A bullet hole could be seen in the driver's side of the gray Audi on Washington Street near Allens Lane. The car was towed. About four minutes down the road, on Veterans Memorial Drive, the back window of a Honda SUV was shattered.
Witness Paul Wager, who lives in the area with his wife and children, said he woke up to the crime scene in front of his house and saw the aftermath of the shooting.
"My wife woke me up and said there was a double shooting down the street. Her and the kids were scared - I found them on my living room floor sitting down," Wager said. "They found one of the shooting victims in front of my house."
Other neighbors and witnesses told NBC10 Boston and NECN that there was a loud a party overnight. Witness Jamie Perez said she heard four or five gunshots.
"My children were crying and nervous," Vanessa Garcia said after she witnessed the drive-by shooting. "They came back around and started shooting at the people."
Massachusetts State Police are still investigating. No one was arrested.
