A driver died from their injuries in a crash that involved a big rig truck on Interstate 295 in Attleborough on Wednesday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The crash happened on I-295 north, just before the I-95 interchange, at around 6:30 a.m. and involved a tractor-trailer and a car.

The car's driver was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. The person has not been publicly named.
The crash involved a Market Basket truck, which was being driven by a 44-year-old man from Lowell, state troopers said.

Two travel lanes were temporarily closed, with significant traffic delays reported. But state police said the scene had cleared and all lanes had reopened just before 10 a.m.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further details were immediately available.
