A Framingham man was killed early Saturday morning in a shooting inside a Hayes Street home, Massachusetts officials said.
Framingham police responded to the shooting around 1:19 a.m. and found the victim, an adult male, dead at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.

The victim was identified Saturday afternoon as Eric Hargrett, 34, of Framingham.
Authorities said a preliminary investigation showed that the attack was not random. No information has been released on a possible suspect or motive in the killing.
